Game Idears

Oi... I didn't mean to forget about the new blog assignment, I'm usually pretty good about getting this done and over with but I forgot it needed to be done. Oh well, better late than never, right?

Okidoke. For my game, which I've decided to simply call "Concept Artist", the main protagonist is Terry, a kid who wants more than anything to be just that. But he has to go through a few challenges before anyone will consider hiring him for the job.

This is where the player and the learning come in. Once the situation has been established, the player will be required to dress up a character based on the given topic. Since I want to teach responsibility, the player will have to do this "assignment" within a limited amount of time, just as if it were homework from regular school. And it won't be an entirely "dress it up how you like" deal. As I said in my videos, if you put a pink frilly skirt on a character that's supposed to be intimidating, or vice versa, you cannot progress as easily, as would the same be if you were to turn in homework that was obviously not thought about.

Since I didn't really base my game off of anything in particular, I can't really think of any game that it would relate to. Hopefully that's not a bad thing or a big setback, but I think I'll get pretty far with this idea.
